The Leamington Landslide 2026 - August 29th (provisional)
Getting Started in Grass Track Racing
Grass track racing is one of the oldest and most exciting forms of motorcycle sport in the UK, with events dating back to the 1920s. Unlike road or circuit racing, it takes place on natural grass ovals — usually two straights and two sweeping bends — where riders compete on powerful bikes with no brakes. It’s fast, raw, and highly competitive, offering pure racing in its most traditional form.
The sport runs throughout the British summer, typically from early spring into autumn, and attracts riders of all ages and abilities. From small local meetings to major national events like the British Masters Championships, grass track racing delivers thrilling action for riders and spectators alike.
